Halloween Inspiration - Simon Says Stamp DT

Another week has flown by so fast I seriously don't know where the time goes & it's only 81 sleeps until Christmas & I am determined to be organised & ready for it early & maybe hopefully enjoy it this year!

 fabulous own brand exclusive goodies on our cards this week. You don't have to use them for the challenge but if you have them we'd love to see them.

My card this week was one of those that just kind of happened! I am not a big fan of Halloween cards as we don't tend to send them here in the UK, but I do love this cute image :)

I wanted to make my card CAS this week & the biggest shock of all is I actually got inky and enjoyed it lol. 

I created my background by cutting a piece of Rangers Inkssentials stamping paper to cover my card base, then die cutting a circle using Simon's masking paper & applying the circle (moon) to the stamping paper & started playing with some distress inks & Lindy's Stamp Gang Mermaid Seashells Magicals adding colour in uneven random lines. I then randomly stamped some spooky faces from Simon's Hey Pumpkin stamp set in memento ink, peeled off my moon circle and then used a baby wipe to swipe the ink horizontally across my card to create a misty / spooky looking background. 

I then coloured the cute cat sat in the pumpkin from my stamp set with copics, fussy cut it & applied it to my card using foam tape & stamped a sentiment from the same stamp set to finish.

The copic colours I've used are -

 N7, N5, N3 / RV63 / YR15, YR12, YR21.
