Today's card is very different for me as I actually got inky to use this lovely Hero Arts Forest Stencil!
I started by blending distress inks Blueprint Sketch, Faded Jeans, Salty Ocean & Broken China to create a background & then taped my stencil into place over it. I then blended Simon Says Stamps white pigment ink over the stencil & left it to dry. I replaced the stencil and went over the trees using Nuvo's Black Diamond Glimmer Paste, & the moon with Nuvo's Moonstone Glimmer Paste.
I then had a play with my new favourite toy, the Tim Holtz Stamping Platform using Concord & 9th's Holy Night stamp set & stamped the star a few times in Simon's white pigment ink onto my background & also a sentiment from the set onto vellum.
The pretty snowflake is one of Simon's Stitched Snowflakes & I popped a Hero Arts Clear Gemstone in the center. To make the falling snow "pop" a little more I randomly added some Nuvo Simply White Crystal Drops to some of the falling snow that I had stenciled.
As always our lovely Heidi is sponsoring our challenge with a $50 voucher for the fabulous
