I am featuring a very cute Impression Obsession Fascinator Guinea Pig stamp on my card today.

I stamped the cute image onto X Press It Copic Blending card using Ink 0n3 Fadeout ink pad & coloured the image with my copics. As I had used the no line colouring technique I drew in the eyes & string using a copic multi liner

Rose Stem - Simon Says Stamp DT

Good afternoon lovely peeps!

This week our challenge is

ADD A SENTIMENT!

The design team are featuring

Hero Arts logo

products on our cards this week.

I am featuring Hero Arts Rose Stem clear stamp on my card today which is also available as a set with a coordinating die here.

I cut a base using X Press It Copic Blending card slightly bigger than I wanted & stamped the pretty Rose Stem stamp around the edges using Ink 0n3 Fadeout ink pad leaving plenty of white space in the middle of my card for my sentiment. I coloured the images with my copics and by the time I came to adding the black stamens in the center of the flowers I was struggling with being in pain & staying focused after recent neck surgery so I went for the easy option & used a copic multi liner and doodled them free hand as I wanted the black to really pop. I die cut my image using the largest of my Wonky Stitched Frames and mounted my image onto SSS Black card stock.

This challenge was to add a sentiment but I hadn't decided which sentiment I wanted to add & then I received a lovely thinking of you card in the post yesterday from my wonderful friends at Simon Says Stamp & an adorable Get Well card from our lovely Lols which really cheered me up and reminded me how nice it is to receive a handmade card especially when you are feeling a bit down so I decided to make my card a Thinking Of You Card.

I used a sentiment from one of my favourite stamp sets Simon Says Stamps Sketched Flowers which I stamped using SSS Black pigment ink.

I have again created two cards for this challenge as my Simon Says Stamp February Card Kit arrived & I couldn't wait to get playing. The card kit is sold old but all of the elements are available individually.

I have stamped the hearts from the Windows Frames Stamp Set using Ink 0n3 Fadeout ink pad onto Canson XL Watercolour Paper & then die cut my window frames using the Trio Window Die. I water coloured the hearts using Simon Says Stamp Daniel Smith Watercolour Palettes & heat embossed the "big hugs" sentiment from the Window Frames stamp set using SSS Fine Detail White Embossing Powder.

Next up is my original DT card I created for this challenge using Simon Says Stamps Leafy Frames Stamp Set which I also stamped onto Canson XL Watercolour paper using my SSS embossing ink pad & heat embossed using SSS Fine Detail White Embossing Powder. I heat embossed a sentiment for the same stamp set & then water coloured & fussy cut my frame.

I created a simple background using SSS Black stock & Tim Holtz Botanical 3D Texture Fades & I spritzed my card stock with Ranger Perfect Pearl which gives a lovely shimmer to the card stock.
