Happy Easter Monday peeps,

Yes I added in the Monday as I never made it to blogland yesterday so I am late once again, story of my life lol.

We had a lovely but really busy day yesterday, we spent the morning with our friends Wendy & Mark & their two boys Sam & Jamie, and then went for lunch at my beautiful Robert's (nephew), Sammie's & little Ollie's house, and Rob impressed us all with his roast beef, followed with hubby's strawberry cheesecake so we were well and truly stuffed. How little Ollie managed to keep us all entertained like he did was beyond us as we were all shattered by tea time but he was still toddling around making us all laugh.

Round & Round - Paper Play DT Card & Easter Tags!

Hello peeps,

I've just realised I've not posted my DT card, oops my bad lol.

We've had a busy day & I was starting to feel myself about to doze off to sleep after lunch but wanted to paint the decking while the weather was so nice, as I was half asleep I went & slapped my face, you know as you do trying to wake yourself up a bit, only it was a teeny bit too hard & it brought tears to my eyes but I couldn't do anything but laugh which did the trick & woke me up lol. About an hour later I'd finished painting & got changed to go for a walk to the park with hubby & Dude (dog) & quickly checked the state of my mass of curls in the mirror before going out & was horrified to see the left side of my face looked like I either actually had stage 2 of "slapped cheek syndrome" or a nasty encounter with a cosmetics sales woman & I'd managed to escape before she'd got to the right side of my face lol. Cold water didn't help much so I ended up wearing Jodie's big sunglasses out & keeping my head down when we saw anyone,  & before you say it I'm an idiot I already know lol.

Anyway waffle over today I have my 

PAPER PLAY  DT card to share and this week our challenge is to make a SHAPED CARD.

I made this little card about 3 weeks ago for Ali's youngest boy Adam & that young man is very lucky he actually got "Adam" on the front of his card as for years we've called him "Sindy" or "Sindy Lou", long story, poor boy! Adam sounds so wrong now so I had to write the card out to Sindy so he didn't escape it lol.

I was in a colouring mood and discovered a set of Forever Friends Easter stamps in my stash that had never seen ink & wanted to use them but I didn't want to make any more Easter cards as I don't have any use for them so they just end up in the bin, so I decided to make some gift tags to attach to everyone's Easter eggs.

In total I made 18 but have delivered most of the eggs before I realised I hadn't taken any piccy's so here are the 5 I had left. The photo isn't the best as it was a rush job but here they are

Little Murray - Addicted To Stamps DT Card

Hello peeps,

I am so late today! I took some extra painkillers yesterday so my head was floating around in it's own little world & then I had one of those funny nights where I was watching a film way past midnight sat on the sofa cuddling  Daisy Mae (cat) & then woke up at 3.20am, freezing cold & not quite with it. I remember bizarrely thinking "I'll do some colouring" so grabbed my copics, stamped an image, made a cuppa & sat there trying to colour to keep myself awake before eventually realising it was very dark so it wasn't the afternoon it was the middle of the night, so what the hell was I doing trying to stay awake anyway lol.

Today I am rejoining my DT's which I took a break from while I was poorly, I will admit I have enjoyed a little break & only keeping one DT going although I have been busy organising some things behind the scenes, it's not until you take a step back that you realise how time consuming being on DT's is, but I have missed my teamies so it's back to the grindstone for me lol.

 We are going to be welcoming a new baby girl into our family in the Summer, little Ollie is going to be a big brother so his mummy & daddy are going to have their work cut out with two little ones under the age of 2, brave, or mad lol. 

I wanted to give the little lady a gift that nobody else would so wanted something handmade & thought of my lovely and super talented friend Tabs & her crochet goodies. Tabs  has made the cutest, & just perfect little pair of Mary Jane's that I instantly fell in love with. Unfortunately my piccy doesn't do them justice they are even more adorable & pretty IRL :)

Naturally I had to have some gorgeous crochet flowers too (thanks Tab for making them in the colours I wanted x) & Jodie wanted a lip gloss holder which I couldn't photograph as she was out when I took the piccy and the mean girl wouldn't leave it with me in case I didn't give it back lol.

 As the weather is so lovely at the moment we decided to make the most of it & spent the afternoon with our precious little man (great nephew) Ollie yesterday. Jodie took him swimming & we met her & Ollie later in the beautiful park close to the town centre.

That little fella just melts my heart, then again so does his daddy my nephew Rob :)

I love this piccy, every time he got to the bottom of the slide he said "WOW" & I snapped him just as he was saying it :)

Getting tired so stopped for a rest with hubby, I'm not sure which one needed to rest most lol.

Just time for an ice-cream before shutting those tired little eyes, awww, we love him sooooooo much.

Experimenting & Mini Candy Winner

Hello lovely peeps,

What the blogging heck is going on now? Blogger & I are so not friends, I haven't been able to upload on my blog & visiting some blogs has been a nightmare as I keep getting service unavailable & an error code, is it just me peeps or is blogger being naughty for everyone? 

I am loving this beautiful weather we are having, we've made a start on sorting the garden out but have spent pretty much all weekend shopping! Hubby is one of those unusual men who loves to shop so we've ended up buying decking, a gazebo, blinds for the kitchen, plants, a set of 3 new telephones so I will have one in my craft room again, not that I even like the phone but hubby wants a phone in my craft room as he can never get hold of me as I can never find my mobile, paint for the porch, a camera, 2 new computer mice, wallpaper & paint etc ready to decorate Jodie's bedroom as she insists she isn't going to be leaving home, ever! I think that is sooooo selfish of her as she's got a lovely big bedroom which would be a perfect craft room lol. 

Today I have something very different for me to share! Jodie will be 21 next year & she's asked if I can make her a scrapbook which had me in a bit of a panic as I've never attempted a scrapbook before. 

I made my first attempt on Thursday when Ali & I had our craft day, & it wasn't easy as while I was making it I had to quickly & discretely pop in my craft room & hide the Star Doo Hickey which is part of my candy & keep an eye on that naughty Ali to make sure she didn't find it as she wanted to use it & intended to then put it back in the packet, which would have meant whoever wins my candy would have a second hand Doo Hickey, & there was no way I was going to let her so this lead to our usual shouting match, well craft day just wouldn't be right if we didn't have a yell at each other lol. That's you named & shamed Mrs Irish, now go hang your head in shame you cheeky mare & go buy your own Doo Hickey lol.

Simon Says Let's Play Bingo - Simon Says Stamp DT Card

Hello peeps,

I totally forgot what day it is today, and have just discovered the man who phoned me from the bank waffling about my ISA who I managed to confuse no end was right, it definitely is Wednesday! The poor man said I'd confused him so much he said he doesn't even know what day it is any more or even what his name is lol.  

I was up so stupidly early & had the bright idea of starting to paint my kitchen not realising I should have been writing my blog post, & I've managed to trash the kitchen in the process. Typically a man arrived to read the gas & electricity meters which are in the cupboard in the kitchen so after fighting his way into the cupboard he said his wife wanted to paint their kitchen lilac too. "Lilac" I screeched, "It's not lilac, it's French Grey you silly man" and that started a 10 minute debate with him about the colour even though I showed him the tin of paint saying "French Grey" on it he carried on arguing with me that it was lilac so I had to throw him out, and I know I am right about the colour as there is written evidence lol.

Anyway enough waffle as I'm late enough already.
