Flowers - Simon Says Stamp DT Card

Good afternoon lovely peeps!
There never seems to be enough hours in the day for everything I need to get done! I am on a weeks holiday off work & feel like I need to go back to work for a rest lol.

Jodie's cat Olly Purrs managed to slice his little leg open so I've been dashing back & forth to the vets with him & a tearful Jodie. Thankfully after an operation Olly Purrs is more concerned about his Buster collar he has to wear than his neatly stitched up leg so he is on the mend.

Prima

   goodies on our cards. You don't have to use them to enter our challenge but we'd love to see them if you do.

I didn't chose this challenge but I am pleased one of my teamies did as I love flowers & Prima products so this has been a really easy challenge theme & brand for me to feature :) 

I have used many Prima goodies on my card today & I am kicking myself for forgetting to use my new Prima Paper Clay on this card but with making my card between vets trips & comforting Jode I totally forgot!

I've discovered the fabulous new Prima Paintables paper pads and these are so lovely to use, & may well have converted me from being a non inky girl. I've used three different distress inks Stormy Sky, Broken China & Weathered Wood with a water brush to colour my Paintables papers, & of course have added some beautiful Prima flowers (all linked at the end of my post). I have also used some Prima White Texture Sand with my honeycomb stencil to add some texture, along with some pretty Prima lace.

The image I've used is Paisley Has A Prezzie by Stamping Bella & I'd added my favourite Simon Says Stamp butterfly dies, Leanna & Chrissy.  

The copic colours I've used are -

skin - E11, E00, E000, R21, hair - E44, E43, E41, clothes - B23, B21, B41 / W4, W2, W0/ C3, C1, C00, shoes - N7, N5, N3, present - BV11, BV01, BV000 / V09, V04, V22

Stencil It! Simon Says Stamp DT

Good afternoon lovely peeps!

Blogging has driven me mad the last couple of days with the Captcha that has appeared on some blogs! Commenting has taken me ages especially if the blog isn't written in English and the Captcha won't translate or let me copy it to translate it so I had to keep trying to guess which pictures it wanted me to tick!!! I have tested my blog and couldn't see it come up when trying to publish a comment but if anyone else see's it on here please let me know and I will be on a mission to remove the flipping thing.

Captcha rant over! The sun is shining, it's lovely & warm, & I am desperate to do some gardening but my back & shoulder won't allow me to, so I will just have to supervise instead which is something I've discovered I'm not bad at lol.

Stencil Girl

Today I have used a cute Tiddly Inks stamp on my card and gone all out pretty and feminine as I was itching to use some of my lovely new Prima flowers.

I have featured Stencil Girls lovely X Rows stencil on my card using both the larger X's & the smaller. This is a large 9"x12" stencil so it's perfect for larger projects as well as cards. I used embossing paste with my stencil and as usual went over the X's with gesso once the paste was dry to highlight my stencil work.

The copic colours I've used are -

skin - E11, E00, E000, R21, hair - E47, E44, E42, dress - C3, C1, C00, bows - R32, R30, R00,  heart flowers - RV66, RV63, RV55, butterflies - RV95, RV93, RV91.
