Easter Inspiration - Simon Says Stamp DT

Good afternoon lovely peeps!
Feeling a little better only lasted a couple of days & my doctor said I ticked all the boxes for having Australian flu! She also thinks my total lack of energy, huge glands, temperature & enlarged tonsils could be due to glandular fever so I'll need a blood test in a couple of weeks so I'm keeping my fingers crossed it's just the flu that is making  me feel so rubbish!

This weeks card features Your Next Stamps Yummy Cupcake Bunny clear stamp which I have coloured with my copics.
I almost had to give up trying to make a card for this challenge as it took a ridiculous 2 days & lots of rests to eventually come up with a totally CAS card!
All I did for the background on this little card was I masked the bunny & blended some Spun Sugar distress ink around the cute image & then added a few Crystal Drops.

The copic colours I have used are -
bunny - C3, C1, C00 / RV52, RV10, RV000, cupcake - E33, E31, E30 / RV52, RV10, RV000 / BVO1, BV11, BV00 / Y11, Y02, Y00 / B41, B00, B000 / G43, G40, G000 / R12, R01, R000.

Thanks to my beautiful Daisy Mae cat jumping onto my laptop the other day & then it not uploading any photographs I was unable to share my card for  Simon Says Stamp new Best Days release.
Thankfully I have managed to restore it & it's back to normal so can share my cards today.
On this little card I have featured Simon's lovely Sweet Elephant dies.

I used a mix of MFT Watercolor Wash paper for the elephants body & Doodlebug paper for the ears, & of course Simon's lovely You Matter stamp set & You wafer die.

I had so many ideas popping into my head when using this die so you will definitely be seeing these little elephants again :)

Girl Power! - Simon Says Stamp DT

Good afternoon lovely peeps!
I am at last starting to feel better after having the flu, I'm just extremely tired & achy still but definitely on the mend thankfully.
I was looking at my photos on my laptop & discovered I have so many cards to share with you & while I am still resting have begun to schedule some blog posts rather than bombard you with too many in one post.

It's Wednesday which means -

I stamped & masked some of the pretty roses & leaves onto water colour paper using Hero Arts Soft Sky & Green Hills shadow ink pads & then coloured them with Polychromo pencils to give a soft water coloured effect.
I gave the background a wash of colour using Prima Pastel Dreams Watercolors & added a few flicks of watered down Shaded Lilac  & Stormy Sky distress ink , & once dry added some pearls
I stamped & heat embossed part of my sentiment from Simon's You Matter stamp set in white embossing powder & added a die cut of Simon's "You" die to finish.

Anything Goes - Simon Says Stamp DT

Good afternoon lovely peeps!
I hope you are keeping warm & snug during our "beast from the East" blast of Winter!
I ventured out briefly on Monday to go to the doctors & collect prescriptions & have since been snug on my sofa, resting, sleeping & watching rubbish day time TV as I've no energy & ache too much to do anything else..
We had just a dusting of snow yesterday & are forecast lots on Thursday & Friday, so if we do get anymore I'll no doubt just be looking at it from the comfort of my sofa unless these antibiotics & steroids work amazingly fast of course.

It's Wednesday which means -

Anything Goes!

This week the design team are featuring

Memory Box logo

products on our cards.
If you have them we would love to see them but as always it's not compulsory to use them to enter our challenge.

Luckily I had this card already cut, sewn & put together, it was just in need of decoration as I ache too much to be sat at my desk crafting at the moment. The only problem I had was if I had a Memory Box product that was suitable to add to it! Thankfully I have those lovely little Memory Box Puffy Cloud Dies in among my stash, which I love & have used many times, & they could easily be added to my card.

I have embellished my card with a selection of pretty Prima flowers, some die cuts from  Simon Says Stamps Butterfly Drift & I have added lots of pretty little hydrangeas which are die cut using Spellbinders Hydrangea die set. I also added lots of pearls & Tonic Nuvo Wisteria & Simply White crystal drops. The sentiment is from Simon Says Stamps Bouquet Of Thanks stamp set and I have stamped it in Simon's Intense Black ink.

The copic colours I've used are -
house - W6, W4, W2, W0, door & roof - BV29, BV25, BV20, flowers -BV17, BV13, BV11 / G94, G43, G40, windows - BG70, BG90, BG0000.
