Magnolia Advent Calendar - Paper Play DT Project

Hello peeps,

I am so very late with my DT project as my medical appointment for my shoulder on Wednesday left me in so much pain I just needed to rest up and wait for it to ease and thankfully it has & I do love and appreciate the good days :)

Today I have my late DT project for

PAPER PLAY

& the challenge we have for you this time is

CHRISTMAS

This is our last challenge of 2012 and this challenge will stay open until the 4th January 2012.

Be warned peeps this is a very picture heavy post

My Advent calendar I actually started last December and I built and papered it and then decided I didn't like the paper and just shoved it away for a year, shocking lol, so I've re-papered it and wanted to use as many of this year's Tilda's as possible & I still have a few left uninked now!

As there are a mass of ingredients used to make my calendar I won't be able to list and link them all but I'll do my best.

All images are coloured with Copics, the papers are Magnolia as are the snowflakes that I've stamped on the paper.

This little cutie is Tilda with Christmas baked goodies and I've sat her beside an older Magnolia present.

 This is Something for You Tilda and the December 24 stamp and the holly swirls are also Magnolia stamps.

All of the numbers are die cut using Tim Holtz Vintage Market alphabet strip. The Holly leaf punch is from Woodware, the sparkly snowflakes are a gift from a lovely friend, and the pearl trims are from Wild Orchid.

Here I've used Magnolia's basket with presents from the So Jolly Collection 2009, the wooden buttons were from the NEC, the sparkle is a mix of crystal glamour dust & diamond stickles

This pretty girlie is a Special Edition Tilda, I've a feeling she'll keep appearing on my cards through next year.

The lace was from Craftbrulee on eBay, the trees & Mistletoe are Magnolia Doo Hickeys and the postmark stamps are from Lili Of The Valley.

This lovely Wishful Armchair I bought last Christmas but haven't used before and I've popped sitting Tilda with Teddy in it.

The last side of my calendar has a string of tiny lights which are from a Make It Crafty Christmas accessories pack which I coloured & threaded clear thread through and hung above Tilda, the leave are also from MIC.

Around the base of my calendar I have used Aleene's glitter snow and added even more glamour dust to it and it really does sparkle.

Here I've used the Magnolia lamp post & Jingle Tilda.

The top I have decorated simply by adding ribbons, some large cinnamon sticks, bells and a mix of Polar White Flowersoft & Glamour dust.
