This week I have created a CAS card & I'm featuring Newton Nook's Ornamental Newton stamp set. I have coloured this cute image with my copics & I drew a line across the pine needles branch die cut to give the impression the bauble is hanging from the branch.

The copic colours I've used are -

cat - C3, C1, C00 / R81, RV00, RV000, bauble - N3, N1, N0 / B91, B21, B41 / B52, B000, B0000.

Snow White! - Simon Says Stamp DT

Good afternoon lovely peeps!

I had a lovely day shopping at the NEC craft show on Sunday & came home with lots of bags of gorgeous goodies to play with & a much lighter purse lol.

This week I am featuring these adorable Smitten Mitten Dies Set, there is also a Smitten Mittens Stamps Set to accompany them or as you can see they can be used alone.

The background has been created using Taylored Expressions Twinkling Holiday embossing folder matted onto Simon's White Glittered Card Stock. I have die cut the cute mittens using Simon's lovely White Woodgrain Card Stock & popped these onto my card using foam pads, then die cut the trim in Simon's White Glitter Card Stock & adhered these to my mittens.

I die cut the Snow sentiment from Simon's Winter Snow dies set a few times & layered 4 together to create some more dimension.  added some of  Simon's pretty Stitched Snowflakes  & Nuvo Crystal Drops in Simply White & Crystal Glaze to finish.

Other supplies used -

 May Arts Twine, Elizabeth Craft Designs double sided tape, Elizabeth Craft Designs Soft Finish Card Stock, Tonic Guillotine, Kool Tack foam pads, Aleene's Tacky Glue, & Cuttlebug.

Christmas Gift Tag - Simon Says Stamp DT

Good afternoon lovely peeps!

I can't believe it's November the 1st already! It's time to really get cracking with some Christmas crafts as I am very behind this year due to having some health problems.

For this weeks challenge I have created two different Christmas Gift Tags featuring lots of Simon's lovely products. 

To create this little tag I stamped Simon's Christmas Sweater background stamp in Versamark Watermark ink onto white card stock & heat embossed it using white embossing powder. 

I stamped the cute Nutcracker image & baubles form the Retro Christmas stamp set in Memento ink onto X-Press Copic card stock & coloured the image with copics. The "To You From Me" sentiment stamp is also from the same Retro Christmas stamp set.

I fussy cut my little Nutcracker & baubles, added a little sparkle & then foam mounted them onto my tag. I then added some May Arts Twine & Nuvo Morning Dew Crystal Drops to finish.

The copic colours I've used are -

skin - E11, E00, E000, R30, hair - C3, C1, C00, mouth - R59, R56, R39, clothes - E35, E33, E31 / YR24, YR21, YR20 / C9, C7, C5. baubles - E44, E43, E41 / E42, E41, E40 / W4, W2, W0 / C3, C1, C00.

My second tag today features Simon's lovely Holiday Tree Medallion stencil which I have stenciled on white card stock in Broken China distress ink. I then added some flicks of colour using some other distress inks in Faded Jeans & Salty Ocean & also added some tiny drops of Simply White Nuvo Crystal Drops to the background.

I die cut the word "Winter" from Simon's Winter Snow wafer die set in blue glitter card from Heidi Swapp's Marquee paper pad & die cut a couple of pretty snowflakes using Simon's Stitched Snowflakes die & popped these on my tag along with some twine & larger crystal drops.

Other supplies used -

Tim Holtz Stamp Platform, Ink Blending Tools, Elizabeth Craft Designs double sided tape, Tonic Guillotine, Ranger Heat Tool, Tonic Kraft Card & Cuttlebug.

Photo Inspiration - Simon Says Stamp DT

Today I have two cards to share with you as I am playing catch up from being ill, so lets get down to business!

This week I am featuring these lovely Leaves 2 Wise Dies by Paper Smooches & I have teamed them with a cute Stamping Bella image called Patricia Loves Pumpkins. 

To create the leaves I blended a mix of distress inks onto white card stock & then die cut the leaves using the inky blend, & I have coloured the image with copics.

The sentiment is from Simon's Bouquet Of Thanks stamp set from the One Of A Kind release & I have stamped it with Simon's Dark Chocolate ink pad.

My second card today features a die from Simon Says Stamps new release

  Merry & Bright

& is called Holly Oval Frame.

There are so many gorgeous products in this new release that I want them all lol.

I created this card when I was really poorly & as my head was absolutely pounding so I chose to create it very simply and even that was a struggle at the time!

I created a simple water colour wash background with Primas Pastel Dreams Water Color Confections set & die cut my Holly Oval Frame using Hero Arts Woodgrain card stock. I also used Simon Says Stamps & Dies On A String set from the STAMPtember release & stamped the snowflakes and sentiment using Simon's Audrey Blue, Deep Sea & Surf Blue ink pads.

I used foam pads to mount the Holly Oval Frame & also some of the snowflakes to add more dimension to my card & finished with some Simply White Crystal Drops.
