Flower Power - Simon Says Stamp DT

On today's card I am featuring Altenew Painted Butterflies & Perfectly Perfect stamp sets & also Altenew Watercolour Pan Set.

I heat stamped & embossed the flowers from the Perfectly Perfect stamp set using SSS Embossing Ink & SSS White Fine Detail Embossing Powder & then water coloured them using my Altenew watercolour pan set & fussy cut them.

I stamped a large butterfly from the Painted Butterflies stamp set using Hero Arts Soft Pink Ink Pad onto Copic X Press It card stock stamping the layers in the same ink to leave a faint outline, & stamping the large outline butterfly in SSS Black pigment ink. I didn't stamp my butterfly on watercolour paper as I wanted a nice crisp white background & not the creamy colour of watercolour paper but I wanted to add some watercolour paint to my butterfly so I braved carefully adding some watercolour paint over my butterfly to add deeper shading to draw the eye.

 I stamped a sentiment from Simon Says Stamps Beautiful Flowers stamp set using Simon's Black pigment ink & mounted it onto fun foam & attached it to my card.

 Other supplies used - 

Snow Crystals, Moonshine Sequins, Elizabeth Craft Designs Double Sided Tape, Tonic Guillotine, Tim Holtz Stamping Platform, Tonic Scissors, SSS Tacky Glue, SSS Black Pigment Ink Pad, Royal Langnickel paintbrush.
